- Position Purpose
| The Product Manager will take ownership of development and roll out of a set of products related to execution of Government mandates ensuring they are saleable by the Relationship / Sales Teams while being compliant with existing regulations and Bank Delivery Capabilities. These would leverage on the banks recent empanelment as an agency bank as well as drawing on opportunities created by changes in government regulation and its drive towards digitization. Besides the Government Banking piece, the incumbent would also be responsible for running the Network management for the Transaction banking suite of products including managing relationships with correspondent banks, vendors, technology partners etc. |

| 1 | Writing and updating product programmes for Government Banking ProductsWriting and updating product programmes for various tie ups done by the Bank under the Transaction Banking vertical.Identifying and Working with various technology partners to enhance the product suite and offerings for client mandates.Using knowledge of Government circulars and schemes to help the Sales team in customising solutions for their client segmentsMonitor regulatory guidelines and share impact with all stakeholders proactively. |
| 2 | Understanding the government departmental business model and offering solutions for making their working capital cycle efficient.Understanding the needs of expanding the network for client mandate execution and offering solutions through identification of the right partners.Focus on growing wallet share of transaction banking products by formulating origination strategy with various stakeholders and implementing sameNegotiating with partners to develop cost effective offerings that can be leveraged by the sales team to better service clients. |
| 3 | Driving new initiatives for transitioning clients from a paper based to digitally induced transactions.Working with various stakeholders to build the delivery capability of RBL by expanding its network of partner organisations. |
