- Job Title: Cloud Pre-Sales Professional
Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals for cloud-based solutions, including defining technical architectures, approaches, and methodologies, as well as preparing compelling proposal presentations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their cloud needs, technical requirements, and business objectives. Foster effective communication and alignment throughout the pre-sales process.
End-to-End Pre-Sales Cycle: Manage the complete pre-sales cycle, encompassing lead identification, qualification, and funnel management for cloud solutions.
Opportunity Planning: Strategically plan and oversee cloud opportunities, both internally and externally, to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document detailed cloud solution requirements and effectively communicate them to relevant stakeholders and technical teams.
Market Research: Continuously monitor cloud technology trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings to inform pre-sales strategies.
Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of cloud technologies, services, and their application in addressing customer needs.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison between technology teams, support teams, and business units to ensure a seamless pre-sales process and solution delivery.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in technology solution selling, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions and services.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred. Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.
Skills:
Cloud Expertise: A strong understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and services, with the ability to architect cloud solutions that meet customer requirements.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex cloud solutions to clients and stakeholders.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of cloud projects.
Bid Management: Experience in crafting and managing bids for cloud solutions, including pricing strategies and market positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, developers, legal, and commercial teams.
Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cloud market trends, pricing models, and activation strategies.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in cloud pre-sales or consulting.
Proven track record of successful cloud solution selling and extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms
