| Job Purpose | This role will be responsible to manage bank’s complete Database portfolio, ensure database services are always available to the business and drive key initiatives to benefit from new age database technologies. | |
| Primary Responsibilities | a)Manage complete database portfolio of RBL on on-premise as well as on cloud b)Work with business and plan database expansion keeping focus on current and future business needs c)Prioritize on automation to reduce manual dependencies in operations and effectively improve working efficiency d)Introduce shift towards Opensource DBs and demostrate reduction in operational business expenditure d)Ensure strict compliance by keeping all systems and policies updated e)Actively participate in major incident calls and provide assistance to find RCA f) Lead major DB projects and ensure its effective delivery g)Evaluate and propose solution to tackle business concerns or improvements by adopting modern age solution h)Plan and present technology overhaul ideas to reduce cost of operations in mid to long term i)Participate in audit activities and its cosure to remain compliant | |
| Qualification/Experience | Masters/ Btech in Computer Science | |
| Overall experience of 15+ years In IT with specialization in Database administration and management function | ||
| Key skills | a) Self motivated personality with aim to deliver beyond excellence b) Proven leadership experience to effectively manage large teams c) Ability to influence business and leadership to effectively tackle complex organization problems d) Must have good written and verbal communication skills |
