- Job Title: Pre-Sales Professional for EPC Projects with ICT Components
Responsibilities:
Proposal Management: Lead the preparation of proposals for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects with a focus on ICT components. This includes articulating technical solutions, approach and methodology, and preparing proposal presentations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to analyze information needs, functional requirements, and project specifications. Facilitate effective communication and alignment between all parties.
Complete Pre-Sales Cycle: Manage the entire pre-sales cycle, from lead identification and qualification to maintaining and managing the sales funnel for EPC projects with ICT components.
Opportunity Planning: Strategically plan and monitor the entire opportunity, both internally and externally, to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements Elicitation: Gather and document detailed project requirements and effectively communicate them to the relevant stakeholders, including the engineering and technical teams.
ICT Component Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of ICT components and their role in EPC projects.
Interdepartmental Liaison: Serve as a bridge between technology teams, support teams, and business units to ensure a seamless project execution process.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in technology solution selling with a specific focus on EPC projects containing ICT components.
Education: An Engineering Graduate with a relevant technical background. A Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications is a plus.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the EPC industry, especially in the context of ICT components and technology integration.
Skills:
Technical Understanding: A strong understanding of ICT components and their application within EPC projects.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor EPC projects.
Bid Management: Experience in crafting and managing bids for EPC projects with ICT components.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology experts, engineers, legal, and commercial teams.
Market Knowledge: Knowledge of market trends and pricing strategies in the EPC industry, particularly in ICT-related projects.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with a strong emphasis on technology solution sales and EPC projects.
Proven track record of at least 4 years in pre-sales or consulting for EPC projects with ICT components.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing complex EPC projects from a pre-sales perspective.
