Seeking a senior Kubernetes L3 resource with deep hands-on expertise across Oracle Cloud Native Environment (OCNE), VMware Tanzu, AWS EKS, and Azure AKS platforms to lead enterprise container operations, troubleshooting, and optimization in a hybrid/multi-cloud data center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead L3 incident resolution for production Kubernetes clusters across OCNE, Tanzu, EKS, and AKS, handling complex issues like etcd failures, CNI networking problems, and control plane outages.
- Design, deploy, and scale Kubernetes clusters using GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), Helm charts, and Cluster API for multi-cluster management.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization for high-throughput workloads (20k+ TPS capable) on OCNE/Tanzu clusters integrated with your 11-node HP DL380 Gen11 infrastructure.
- Implement advanced security hardening: Pod Security Standards, Network Policies, OPA Gatekeeper, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and runtime security (Falco).
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and custom operators for Day 2 operations including upgrades, node scaling, and backup/recovery.

Required Technical Skills
Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years Kubernetes production operations with 4+ years specifically on OCNE.
- Proven track record resolving L3 incidents in 100+ node clusters with 99.95%+ uptime SLAs.
- Experience with enterprise backup (Veeam for K8s), DR failover, and compliance (CIS benchmarks).
- Strong scripting (Bash/Python/Go) and infrastructure code development skills.
- B.Tech. or equivalent; Oracle/VMware/AWS certifications preferred.
