Position  :-  VP  – Cyber Security

Location:-   Mumbai

Job Description-:

Designation – Vice President – Cyber Security (Consulting Services)

Reporting to – Managing Director and CEO

Responsible for – The overall organisation routine operations and Consulting Projects deliverables

Experience – ~ 15 years

Experience description 

 Ideal candidate would worked at multiple customer projects in a mid-sized Cyber / Information Security consulting organisation. Last five years experience needs to be of having managed a small / mid size team of 20-25 experienced consultants in this field. Should have undertaken independently, at least 7-8 projects of various sizes (not less than three months) for different and distinct customers. Projects undertaken may prominently be of Security Architecture, Governance Risk and Compliance and Cyber Security Audits / Assessment.

Over and above the mentioned qualifying experience criteria, experience of working in end-user organisations for in-house Information Security Management and implementation of Information Security Technologies, will be added advantage. Such candidates will be given preference.

Education –

 BE / BTech / MTech + Cyber Security Certifications/ Risk Management / Security Audit Certifications (e.g. ISO 27001 LA, ISO 27001 Impl. ISO 22301, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CIPP  etc.).

Additional education such as Diploma in Cyber Law or MBA in Information Security etc. would be added advantage.

Skill Sets – ,

1. Good written and oral communication (Presentation Skills)

• Good Team management capabilities (Leadership Skills)

• Good Project Management (Assignment Management)

• Knowledge of Cyber / information Security Standards and Frameworks (should have executed multiple projects for Cyber / Information Security)

• Assessment& Audit experience will be added advantage

• Thorough knowledge of Security Architecture, GRC, Vulnerability Management Practices, Process of Information Security Audits and Information Security Training requirements

• Knowledge of Cyber Security / Information Security regulations and guidelines issued by various regulators / Competent Authorities of the country (RBI, SEBI, IRDA, PFRDA, MHA, MEitY etc.)

• Knowledge of Information Security lifecycle, Governance of risk management etc.

• Knowledge in the General Data Privacy Regulations of various geographies and proper understanding of Data Protection Bill of India will be added advantage to the candidate

1. Ability to manage and guide multiple projects and teams working on Security Architecture and associated framworks, GRC projects around the Regulatory guidelines and requirements of Cyber / Data Protection & Privacy laws, Assessment services for better Security posture management, Awareness training and culture building.

1. Experience to work with multiple customers for various projects independently while handling the team of consultants and coordination with Sales for Technical proposals etc. (Multi-Tasking Skills)

1. Strongmanagement,motivational &leadershipskillswithabilitytodrivebusiness goals andprogramsof Cyber / Information Security Consulting services forthe organization.

1. Commitment to maintain internal and customer confidentiality and deal with situations in a sensitivemanner.

1. Knowledge and experience in Automation of routine Security Processes and Practices aligned to regulatory guidelines or Security Standards will be added advantage

Key Deliverables –

1. Lead the organisation operations and team ofmulti-disciplinary experts, to meet the organisation business goals.

• Developing strategy and approach for implementation of Standards and Frameworks related to Security Architecture, GRC and Good Security Practices, in a manner that consulting service offering delivery timelines are reduced by creating replicable model

• Provide guidance and develop necessary Information Security Training programs (both standard offering and customised offerings). Impart such sessions if customer wants the training for its CXO / Sr. Management group / Board of Directors

• Expansion of the team and ensuring the continuity of existing team using people management skills to facilitate the organisation growth goals

• Setting up the productivity monitoring of the team and effecting course correction of the teams or individuals, if necessary, to ensure optimal usage of resources and maximising per resource returns for the organisation

• Ensuring that commercial transactions (Invoices on customers, payment receipts etc.) are properly completed and in timely manner by the concerned team members. Where required, coordinating with the Sr. Management of the customer organisations.

• Networking with Customers to identify possible footprint growth opportunities (supporting sales team for cross selling / up selling cyber security services.

• Mapping the new regulatory requirements to specific segment of entities, who are required to comply with the regulatory guidelines

• Managing the strategic partnership where organisation provides collaborative services with the help of other cyber security services organisation

1. Assist in preparation of Business Plans, Organisation Budgets, and Resource Plans. Suggest approach to reduce cost and enhance business by finding opportunities for creating niche offerings in Cyber Security Consulting Services. Workout automation ideas for processes

1. Create the KPIs for the Team Leads and ensure that it is percolated down below to team members. Monitor the KPI and evaluate performance of teams based on the KRA.
