Role Purpose
Own and scale a defined AgriTech sub-vertical with clear accountability for growth, strategy execution, P&L contribution and Product/Platform strategy while ensuring strong governance across delivery, product, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Strategy Ownership
- Define and execute sub-BU strategy aligned with BU goals
- Own revenue growth, order book, and margin targets
- Identify new market opportunities (AgriStack, Crop Intelligence, Insurance, Advisory)
- Build account growth strategies and expand existing client footprint
2. P&L & Governance
- Track revenue, profitability, collections, and cost optimization
- Establish operating cadence: reviews, MIS, performance dashboards
- Proactively manage business risks and portfolio mix
3. Delivery Governance
- Provide portfolio-level oversight, not project execution
- Ensure Delivery Heads/Program Managers own:
- Project execution
- Timelines and quality
- Focus on:
- Escalation resolution
- Delivery health metrics
- Customer outcomes
4. Product & Solution Strategy
- Drive productization of AgriTech solutions (DSS, crop analytics, advisory) leveraging AI/ML
- Define use-case prioritization and solution roadmap inputs
- Push reuse of IPs, platforms, and data assets
5. Client & Ecosystem Leadership
- Own senior stakeholder relationships (Govt, Insurance, Agri bodies)
- Position Amnex as a strategic partner
- Lead large deal discussions and renewals
6. Business Development
- Anchor large bids, solution shaping, and win strategy
- Drive pipeline creation and conversion
- Identify cross-sell / platform-led opportunities
7. Organization & Capability Building
- Build second-line leaders across delivery, product, and domain
- Drive domain capability (Agri + GIS + AI) and solution depth
- Ensure optimal team structure and utilization

- Revenue & order book growth
- Gross margin improvement
- Client retention & expansion
- Deal win rate
- Portfolio delivery health (not execution)
- IP/solution reuse
Key Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/Data Science or equivalent
- 15+ years across AgriTech / GIS/Remote sending/ digital platforms
- Strong business + delivery governance + client management
- Experience with government/PSU ecosystem + large programs
- Good understanding of agriculture ecosystem (crops cycle/yield/health and related advisory, GIS application, remote sensing, farmer and land records management, agri decision support systems, weather monitoring, insurance etc)
- Strong Project & Program management
- Pre-sales and solutioning
