Job Description:
1. JOB PURPOSE:
| • New product development on the basis of gap analysis, both from an investor’s view point as well as AMC’s viewpoint, along with addition of new features in exiting product range. • Analysis of the positioning of the existing products and communication regarding the same. Prepare product presentations, one pager, product notes, training etc. • Create market and product material and communication for sales team. • Assess market trends, trends in the mutual fund industry, global trends, regulatory updates, with a view to suggest changes to the product line. |
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
| ➢ Responsible for all aspects of products w.r.t features, pricing, positioning, sales pitch for existing as well as new products. ➢ Track both domestic and international markets for identification of opportunities with respect to new product development. ➢ Tracking new products in the market and updates on existing competitors’ products and proactively identifying the opportunities in both, debt and equity to position/launch products to suit the customer need. ➢ Providing inputs to website in terms of news articles, fund updates, etc. ➢ Assess the risk associated with a product class/asset segment on a continuous basis and suggest remedial action. ➢ Manage existing Products – tracking and analyzing progress and performance. ➢ Preparing literature in the form of presentations, one pager, sales pitches and simulations to assist the sales team. ➢ Regular updates on MF industry, Co. Product’s ranking, Company awards etc. ➢ Manage product development process including idea generation, in-house product review, market and competition assessment, market intelligence, internal and external approvals, product pricing and launch, implementing changes to existing products. ➢ Stay at par with the industry and financial market developments and regulatory changes and assess the impact on the company’s range of funds. ➢ Create, update and maintain product database and guide the Marketing Team to effectively manage prospectuses, application forms and any other relevant fund documentation. |
3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
