Purpose of the positionThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Amnex is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight to support the organization’s growth and financial objectives. This role will focus on securing funding, leading the initial public offering (IPO), managing investor relations, and driving merger and acquisition strategies. The CFO will also oversee traditional CFO responsibilities, ensuring financial stability and compliance.
Roles and ResponsibilityFunding and Capital Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive funding strategy for the organization. Manage cash flow, optimise capital structure, and ensure adequate liquidity. Explore and negotiate financing options and secure funding for business operations and growth. Oversee fund raising activities. IPO Preparation and Execution: Lead the company’s initial public offering (IPO) process. Collaborate with legal, financial, and other teams to ensure a successful IPO. Establish and maintain relationships with investment banks and regulatory bodies. Drive the IPO process from planning to execution. Merger and Acquisition Strategy: Identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities. Lead due diligence and negotiation processes for M&A deals. Develop integration plans and oversee post-acquisition activities. Drive M&A strategies aligned with business objectives.     Financial Planning and Analysis: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Prepare and present financial reports to the board, executive team, and external stakeholders. Monitor and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Oversee compliance with all financial regulations.    Treasury Management: Manage the company’s treasury function, including cash management and investments. Optimize foreign exchange exposure and financial risk. Assess and manage investment returns on surplus funds.  Team Leadership: Build and lead a high performing finance team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement innovation initiatives within the finance team. Other CFO Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Manage the accounting, tax, and audit functions. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to ethical and legal financial practices. Undertake other CFO activities as necessary.
